COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri volleyball alumni Emily Thater has signed a professional contract with League One, as announced by the association on Thursday.
Thater, a class of 2016 graduate, ended her Tiger career ranked fourth in program history in both block and block assists with 422 and 353, respectively.
While in uniform, the Springfield, Missouri native was a member of the winningest class in Mizzou history achieving 105 total victories in her four-year career.
Thater most recently played middle blocker for Levallois Paris St. Cloud in France and has also played pro volleyball in Germany.
While abroad Thater has won bronze medals in the CEV cup and the French Linge A.
League One Volleyball was founded in 2019 with a mission to redefine the world of professional volleyball as well as provide resources for youth club volleyball to those who cannot afford it.
