MADISON, Wis. – The 2022 Big Ten Champion and Regional Finalist Wisconsin volleyball program is proud to announce its annual coaches clinic on Saturday, February 4th in the UW Field House.
This clinic is designed and developed for coaches and fans of all levels including elementary, middle school, high school, club, college, and boys’ and girls’ volleyball coaches.
The 2023 clinic will be led by the Wisconsin coaching staff, including Big Ten Coach of the Year Kelly Sheffield, Associate Head Coaches Brittany Dildine and Gary White, and Director of Scouting and Player Development Annemarie Hickey. In addition to the Wisconsin volleyball staff, the program will welcome additional guest clinicians that will be announced in the coming weeks.
The Badger volleyball program completed the 2022 campaign winning their fourth straight Big Ten Championship and advancing to its fifth straight Regional Final. The Badgers finished with a 28-4 overall record and won the Big Ten outright with a record of 19-1. The 2022 season included a 21 match winning streak for the Badgers, second only to its school record 22 consecutive wins in 2014. The Wisconsin program had three athletes named AVCA All-Americans and four athletes named to either the All-Big Ten First or Second Team during the Fall season.
The 2022 clinic will begin with check-in on February 4th at 8:30 a.m. inside Gate C of the historic UW Field House with the Clinic Opening and Introductions starting at 9:00 a.m. Clinic Sessions on Saturday will include both on-court and off-court topics presented by the Badger staff and their guest clinicians. Participants will be able to choose between concurrent on-court and off-court sessions throughout the different presentation blocks. The clinic will close at approximately 4:15 p.m. The full list of sessions will be listed and updated in the camp brochure on UWCamps.com/Volleyball.
Cost of the clinic is $100 per person. If a school or club program brings three-or-more coaches to the clinic, all coaches from that school or club will be discounted $15 off each of their individual clinic registrations. Included with registration will be a coaches’ packet and clipboard. Lunch will not be provided, however, attendees will be given a break time for lunch.
