Volleyball Defeats St. Andrews in Three Sets

Gainesville, Georgia– The Brenau volleyball team dispatched St. Andrews (N.C.) University 3-0 (25-14, 25-19, 25-10) in an Appalachian Athletic Conference matchup on Saturday.
Outside hitter Mary Ellen Enright led the Golden Tigers offense with 20 kills and senior Annabeth Vandiver and junior Chloe Bennett each posted five kills in the victory. Setter Gabrielle Hogle added 30 assists, while senior Julieanne Saliba tallied 15 digs and freshman Dallas Morse added four digs.
The Golden Tigers outhit the visiting Knights (0-9 overall, 0-3 AAC) with a .349 to .053 hitting percentage.
Brenau (3-7 overall, 1-1 AAC) next travels to face Columbia International University (10-6 overall, 2-0 AAC) in an Appalachian Athletic Conference road matchup on Tuesday at 6:30 pm.
