PULLMAN, Wash. (Dec. 1, 2024) — Washington State Volleyball (16-11, 11-7 WCC) has been selected to play in the 2024 National Invitational Volleyball Championship (NIVC) for the program’s ninth consecutive postseason appearance.
Sunday’s announcement marks the second time the Cougars have been selected to the NIVC, and the first time since the 1992 season when the 27-10 Cougar team was the tournament champion.
The Cougars will face Utah Valley (20-10) for a first-round match on Thursday, Dec. 5 at 3 p.m. PT in Wyoming. Also in this portion of the bracket are Wyoming (15-12) and Idaho State (21-9) playing on Thursday at 6 p.m. PT with a second-round match scheduled for Friday, Dec. 6 at 5 p.m. PT.
