LEXINGTON, Ky. – The United States Marine Corps (USMC)/AVCA Team Academic Awards were announced on Monday for the 2022-23 season and Sun Devil Volleyball is one of the recipients after another strong year in the classroom.
The award honors volleyball teams that matched their dedication to the sport with excellence in the classroom. Teams must maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.30 on a 4.0 scale or 4.10 on a 5.0 scale. The Sun Devils’ cumulative GPA was a 3.55.
This is another academic award for the squad. In the fall, 12 were named to the 2022 Pac-12 Fall Academic Honor Roll. Additionally, graduated senior Annika Larson-Nummer was on the CSC Academic All-District team for volleyball.
