RALEIGH – The NC State volleyball team is set to host Notre Dame on Saturday Nov. 19 at 5pm. Prior to first serve, the Pack will recognize the Fighting Irish five seniors and following the match, the Wolfpack will honor its three seniors – Vanja Bukilic, Priscilla Hernandez, and Hannah Wander.
Last Time Out
The Pack took the first two sets before engaging in a back-and-forth battle with the Irish in sets three and four. Sophomore Martyna Leoniak led the Pack with 15 kills, while Bukilic and Amanda Rice added 14 each.
Leoniak secured her fourth career double-double in the third set against the Irish when she finished with 18 digs in addition to her 15 kills.
Junior Naomi Cabello led the Wolfpack setters with 28 assists, marking her fifth match this season with 20 or more assists.
Three members of the Wolfpack recorded two service aces in the meeting – Priscilla Hernandez, Kristen McDaniel and Hannah Wander.
Things to Note
- NC State leads the all-time series 8-5
- A win would be the third in the Slabe Era and ninth in the series history
- The Pack have won two of the last five meetings
Next Up
The Wolfpack will remain in Raleigh for its home match of the season against Virginia on Nov. 23 and will play the last match of the season at Syracuse on Nov. 26.
