Volleyball Sweeps Toccoa Falls 3-0

Toccoa, Georgia- The Brenau volleyball team rolled past Toccoa Falls (Ga.) College 3-0 (25-18, 25-15, 25-18) in a non-conference matchup on Thursday.

The Golden Tigers outhit the host Bears with a percentage of .275 to .093 and kept a solid lead throughout all three matches enroute the squad’s 14th win of the season. 

Junior outside hitter Mary Ellen Enright had a solid all-around performance with eight kills and eight digs, while freshman right side hitter Malone Davis had six kills. 

Junior libero Julieanne Saliba posted eight assists and eight digs as well. 

Brenau (14-12 overall, 8-7 AAC) next hosts Columbia (SC) College (2-19 overall, 0-16 AAC) for an Appalachian Athletic Conference matchup on Saturday at 1:00pm in Gainesville. The Golden Tigers previously bested the Koalas 3-1 in September.

The Golden Tigers will honor seniors Rachel Hodges, Kadaija James, TyLeeah Maddox and Sydney Norton on Senior Day immediately after the match.
