ABERDEEN, South Dakota – The Waldorf Volleyball team looked to pick up another conference win on the road but could not get by Presentation. The Warriors fell in three straight sets, 21-25, 14-25, 21-25.

Waldorf started the first set being down 4-8 but were able to tie the game at 9-9 from a kill by Kenzie Kidd (JR/Roscoe, IL), service ace from Laina Yurs (SO/South Beloit, IL), and attacking errors from the Saints. The Warriors kept it close but came up short 21-25.

The Warriors struggled with errors in set 2, losing 14-25. A slow start for Waldorf in set 3 with the Saints going on a 6-0 run. The Warriors battled throughout but could not force a fourth set. Kidd led the offense with 11 kills and Abygail Wood (SR/Ankeny, IA) added 5 more, with a .250 hitting percentage. Kaylee Kidd (JR/Roscoe, IL) had 13 digs and Kaitlyn Bakke (SR/Forest Lake, MN) finished with 25 assists.

Next up for the volleyball team is another conference matchup against Mayville State, on Saturday, October 1st. First serve is at 3pm. The Warriors are now 9-4 overall and 1-3 in conference.
