LAST WEEK IN WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
The Lewis University Women’s Basketball team have increased their winning streak to 11 games after coming back from winter break. They started off with a double-digit win against Maryville University Friday (Jan. 3) 57-45, a hard-fought victory against McKendree University Sunday (Jan. 5) 84-80, and most recently defeated Upper Iowa University Thursday (Jan. 9) in a close finish 64-62.
LAST WEEK IN MEN’S BASKETBALL
Since the Lewis University Men’s Basketball team have come back from winter break and extended their winning streak to six games. They started out by defeating Maryville University Friday (Jan. 3) 78-68, a close win against McKendree University Sunday (Jan. 5), and on Thursday (Jan. 9) they had a good win against Upper Iowa University 105-89.
LAST WEEK IN MEN’S VOLLEYBALL
In 2024, the Lewis University Men’s Volleyball team finished with a record of 15-15. The Lewis University Men’s Volleyball team took on (3) Ohio State in the first round of the MIVA Tournament and unfortunately lost 3-1. The Flyers had two players make First Team All-MIVA Nico Paula (Tampa, Fla./Berkeley Preparatory School), Libero and Max Roquet (Johnston, Iowa/Johnston), Outside Hitter.
