LINCOLN, NE – Northwestern fell to the Nebraska Cornhuskers in three sets (23-25, 16-25, 18-25) Sunday on the road at Bob Devaney Sports Center.
The loss dropped Northwestern’s record to 13-7 overall and 2-6 in Big Ten action.
Kathryn Randorf finished with 11 kills on the day to lead the Wildcats offense while finishing with a hitting percentage of .296. Defensively, had three players reach double figures in digs, including Megan Miller’s 13, 11 from Sienna Noordermeer, and 11 more from Ellee Stinson. From the front row, Desiree Becker contributed five blocks.

SET 2 | A 25-16 set-two loss put Northwestern behind two sets to none in the match. Northwestern trailed by as many as nine points as Nebraska grabbed the advantage for good at 2-1 in a set that was tied up just once before the Cornhuskers took over the lead.
SET 3 | Northwestern was not able to win the third set and was swept by Nebraska. The Wildcats dropped the first point and never took the lead before falling in the set 25-18.
