Women's Volleyball Announces 2024 Schedule


NORTH ANDOVER, MASS – The Merrimack College Women’s Volleyball team begins a new era in a new conference as they announced their 2024 schedule which is set to begin in August. The Warriors will play 11 home games at Hammel Court and 28 games in total with 16 games in the MAAC.
 
The Warriors open up with a three-game tournament hosted by Binghamton University with a doubleheader against Bucknell and the hosts Binghamton on August 30, before facing Toledo on the 31. The next week they head to Cambridge for a second tournament that begins on September 6 against the University of New Hampshire before playing two games on the next day against Harvard and Stonehill College. Merrimack finishes up this stretch of road games with a match against University of Rhode Island on September 10.
 
The Warriors begin their home schedule at Hammel Court on Thursday, September 12 against Central Connecticut State University before taking on the College of the Holy Cross the next day. The Warriors head back on the road for a single game for a mid-week matchup against Bryant University on September 17. After a week and a half break the Warriors begin MAAC play against the Peacocks of Saint Peter’s University on September 28 with a quick turnaround as they play Rider University at noon on Sunday.
 
Merrimack then heads to Connecticut for a tripleheader road stretch against MAAC opponents, as they take on Quinnipiac University on October 2, fellow newcomers Sacred Heart three days later and then finish the stretch with Fairfield University the following day. The Warriors will head home on October 12 to play Iona University. The squad will take on Manhattan College the following day. The next week the Warriors begin a four-game road stand playing their first of two with Siena on October 19, followed by facing Marist University the next day. The next week Merrimack heads back to New York to take on Niagara University on October 26, followed by Canisius University on that Sunday. 
 
Merrimack wraps up October by beginning a five game homestand on with their second game against Quinnipiac. They then played a weekend doubleheader against Fairfield on November 2 and then a battle with Sacred Heart the next day. The Warriors then wrap up their home schedule with games against Marist on November 9. The next day the Warriors will take on…
