Facing a fierce challenge in the second set from the home team, Scandicci manages to hold their ground, clinching the set with a close 29-31 victory, thereby establishing a 2-0 lead in the match. They maintained their momentum and closed the match with a 3-0 win, temporarily overtaking Milano for the third spot in the standings with 24 points.

Ekaterina Antropova stood out as the match’s best player, scoring 18 points, including 2 blocks. Her teammate Herbots also shone with 14 points. For Pinerolo, Nemeth led the charge with 16 points, followed by Ungureanu with 12 and Akrari with 10.
