One of the most awaited clashes between Allianz Vero Volley Milano and Savino Del Bene Scandicci lived up to its billing. Milano initially led 2-0 but Scandicci fought back, pushing the game to a decider. Milano eventually triumphed 16-14 in a gripping tie-break. Paola Egonu was particularly impressive, scoring 33 points.
Roma Volley Club’s contest with UYBA Volley Busto Arsizio was another nail-biter. Roma took an early 2-0 lead, only for Busto Arsizio to level it at 2-2. The tie-break was clinched 15-13 by Roma, highlighted by Bici-Plak duo’s 47 points.
In other matches, Il Bisonte Firenze celebrated their maiden victory against Volley Bergamo 1991. Meanwhile, Igor Gorgonzola Novara maintained their undefeated run, beating Wash4Green Pinerolo. TrasportiPesanti Casalmaggiore secured their first win of the season against Itas Trentino, highlighted by performances from Breana Edwards and young Linda Manfredini.
