Brazil defeated the Czech Republic in their opening encounter at the 2022 FIVB Volleyball Women’s World Championship.

Brazil beat the Czech Republic in their first match of the Women’s World Championship 2022. Yes, the team commanded by Zé Roberto dropped a set in the Pool D opener in Arnhem, the Netherlands, but that can be attributed to the fact that, as a renowned expert stated prior to the match, he and his ladies didn’t have enough information on the rival. Tatyana Nikitina scored 10 for Kazakhstan.

The national team of the Dominican Republic got off to a good start in the World Championship after beating Korea 3-0 in a match corresponding to Pool B in Arnhem. The Dominicans’ offensive play was led by Gaila González with 17 points, Middle blocker Geraldine González marked the match with effective blocks, finishing the match with 5 stuffs.
