Worthington Named ACC Setter of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Graduate student setter Emma Worthington was named the ACC Setter of the Week following her performance over the weekend, the conference office announced Monday. 

In her Blue Devil debut, Worthington dished 110 assists for 9.17 assists per set and featured an impressive 52 dimes in Duke’s five-set win over No. 18 Creighton. She also tallied 32 digs, seven kills and four blocks as a six-rotation player. 

She currently ranks tied for 37th nationally in total assists.

Duke will welcome Loyola Maryland and West Virginia to Cameron Indoor Stadium for the home-opening weekend Aug. 31 and Sept. 2.
