Washington-St. Louis junior setter Sam Buckley was named AVCA Division III Player of the Week for matches played Sept. 16-22.
Buckley, who averaged 13.18 assists per set as the Bears went 3-0 at home last weekend, dished out 53 assists in a 3-1 win over Gustavus Adolphus and 43 assists during a sweep against La Verne.
