2024 Big Ten Conference Volleyball Opponent Rotation Announced

ROSEMONT, Ill. (Feb. 15, 2024) The Big Ten Conference unveiled the complete opponent rotation for all 18 schools for the 2024 volleyball season. Each member institution will play a 20-match conference schedule against all 17 conference opponents, meeting three member institutions both home and away and playing the 14 remaining schools once. Double play opponents were determined with consideration for competitive balance, geography and rivalries.

Nebraska is the reigning Big Ten Champion, capping a historic season with an NCAA Final appearance at Amalie Arena vs. Texas. Nebraska ended its season 33-2, its best finish since 2006. Wisconsin advanced to the Final Four for the sixth time in program history, finishing the season with a 30-4 overall record. In addition to the Cornhuskers and Badgers, the Big Ten sent Purdue, Penn State and Minnesota to the NCAA Tournament. Of the four institutions joining the conference in 2024, Oregon and USC advanced to the postseason, with Oregon reaching the Elite Eight.

The Big Ten had eight schools in the top 25 in average volleyball attendance in 2023, with the conference leading the nation in reported attendance for the 15th consecutive season with 831,742.
