The European continental club season hits its stride with the 2024 Men’s Bronze Euroleague seeing action-packed matches unfold in Lyon this weekend.
ASUL Lyon Volley will play host to SDI Jedinstvo Boce Brcko of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Scuola di Pallavolo Fermana of Italy in Pool A of the competition.
The stage is set at the Petit Palais de Gerland, where a double round-robin competition will be held on Saturday and Sunday, March 2-3. This series of matches be the entry point for the three teams to secure a spot in the Silver Euroleague next month.
The Lyon event comes after the Pool B event last week in Sempeter in Slovenia, where hosts ECE Sempeter edged Sitting Bucks Volleyball Club of Great Britain.
Pool C is scheduled on March 9-10 in the commune of Moirans in southeastern France.
