EAST PEORIA, Ill. — The No. 4 seed Lewis women’s volleyball team advanced to the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament Championship with a sweep against No. 1 seed Quincy, 3-0, in the GLVC Tournament Semifinals, at Eastside Centre Friday (Nov. 11).

SET BREAKDOWN
FIRST SET: Lewis 25, Quincy 21
- Lewis got the first three points of the match after three straight kills.
- Quincy responded and made it a one-point game before the Flyers rallied for five straight points capped off by a kill by Ray.
- The Hawks cut it back down to 13-9 midway through the second set before Lewis scored another five points in a row which was capped off by a block by Stenman and Ray.
- Quincy looked to make it close but the Flyers were able to put the Hawks away after Ray picked up a kill to win the first set 25-21.
SECOND SET: Lewis 25, Quincy 18
- Quincy jumped out to an early 4-3 lead before Lewis rallied for five straight points which was started from a kill by Stefanski.
