43 Inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma

Muhlenberg inducted 43 student-athletes from the Class of 2023 into Chi Alpha Sigma in a brief ceremony.

Chi Alpha Sigma is the first national scholar-athlete society to honor collegiate student-athletes who have excelled in the classroom and in competition. Founded in 1996 by then DePauw University head football coach Nick Mourouzis, Chi Alpha Sigma provides outstanding student-athletes an opportunity to become connected within a fraternal association that aligns their educational and athletic successes for a lifetime.

Muhlenberg was accepted into Chi Alpha Sigma in 2019 and has inducted more than 150 members in the last five years. The College Committee on Fitness and Athletics, in coordination with Chi Alpha Sigma’s membership guidelines, developed the following criteria for induction into Muhlenberg’s Alpha Lambda Chapter:

• Has achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 at the time of the selection process and has been on the Dean’s List for at least two semesters;

• Has earned one letter in a varsity intercollegiate sport;

• Has endorsements from his/her head coach; and

• Is of good moral character as determined by their endorsers and the Dean of Students.

Inductees receive a certificate and a cord to wear with their cap and gown. Inductees are listed below, and those who were able to attend the ceremony are pictured above.
