CORAL GABLES, Fla. – University of Miami head volleyball coach Jose “Keno” Gadara announced Tuesday the team’s schedule for the upcoming 2022 campaign.
The Hurricanes will play a competitive 29-match slate, with 11 contests on their home court at the James L. Knight Sports Complex.
“We are really pleased with the non-conference schedule we were able to put together. It presents the types of challenges we were looking for to help prepare our team for the rigors of ACC competition,” Gandara said. “We will face quality opponents both at home and on the road before kicking off ACC play at home in September. We have a great mix of young and experienced talented players who are extremely eager to begin the season in front of our loyal Miami fans.”

The final 18 matches of the season for Miami all come in ACC competition, beginning with a home weekend versus 2021 NCAA semifinalist Louisville (Sept. 23, 7 p.m.) and Notre Dame (Sept. 25, 1 p.m.).
Gandara’s team then heads to the Tar Heel State, where it faces North Carolina (Sept. 30, 6 p.m.) in Chapel Hill, N.C., and NC State (Oct. 2, 1 p.m.) in Raleigh, N.C.
