Lindsey Wilson Athletics – Rich Collects Thirteenth Career Mid-South Setter of the Week Accolade

COLUMBIA, Ky. – Lindsey Wilson volleyball senior Camryn Rich was named the Mid-South Conference’s Setter of the Week, league officials announced on Monday.

The Louisville native is putting together another solid campaign in her fourth season with the Blue Raiders and is receiving the conference’s weekly honor for the 13th time in her career and the first time in 2022.

This past weekend, Rich compiled 93 total assists and 27 digs over two matches versus Freed-Hardeman University and Bethel University. The senior first tallied her seventh double-double of the season against the Lions on Friday, finishing with 50 dimes and a season-best 20 digs. Then, on Saturday against the Wildcats, she posted 43 assists to bring her career total to 3,297, which actively ranks fifth all-time in Lindsey Wilson’s volleyball history.

Through 13 matches played this year, Rich sits fourth and fifth, respectively in the Mid-South in assists per set and total assists, while also hovering just outside the top ten in total digs.

Camryn and her Blue Raider teammates are back at the Biggers Sports Center on Wednesday evening to host Campbellsville University at 6 p.m. CST.
