An attack error by Saint Anselm later helped the visitors tie the set at 20, but Belmontez dropped two aces in a clinching 5-0 run.
- Junior Caitlin Brown’s kill gave the Hawks an 8-3 lead in set No. 2 before the Purple Knights twice trimmed the deficit to one point, for the last time on Syverson’s kill (13-12).
