In line with many other international organisations, World ParaVolley will not be holding a face-to-face 2022 General Assembly.  The Board of Directors has decided to conduct a virtual General Assembly as was held in 2020.

The General Assembly will be held on 4 December, 2022, at 12h00 noon UTC.

We wish to reassure all members that even though we are moving forward with a virtual General Assembly, the voting on motions and the elections will be conducted under the supervision of an independent group of scrutineers so that the integrity of the outcomes is maintained.

The General Assembly meeting documents and any other relevant information has been provided to all registered official delegates electronically.

Elections

As is the case with all World ParaVolley General Assemblies, there will be elections held in 2022.  The following positions are up for election:

• Vice President (four-year term)
• Sport Director (four-year term)
• Marketing Director (four-year term)
• Development Director (two-year term; the position was vacated in 2021 and will again be up for election in 2024)

World ParaVolley encourages all official delegates to review the Position Descriptions and the candidate profiles in order to make an informed choice.  The positions up for election are very important ones for the global World ParaVolley family.  It is therefore extremely important that the successful candidate is able to fulfill the requirements outlined in the Position Description.
