MATCH WEEK

Utah Volleyball wraps up the regular season this week, traveling to Arizona State and Colorado for its final Pac-12 matches. Utah’s quick turnaround begins on the road at Arizona State this Wednesday, Nov. 23, at 2 p.m. MT in Desert Financial Arena. The Utes and Sun Devils will be televised on the Pac-12 Networks. Utah takes a flight to Boulder, Colo., to close out the regular season to play Colorado this Friday, Nov. 25. The Utes and Buffaloes play at 3 p.m. MT at the CU Events Center on Pac-12 Mountain.

 

QUICK HITS

KJ Burgess leads all freshmen in the Pac-12 in hitting percentage (.369) and blocks per set (1.27), while she ranks in the top-five among all freshmen in the nation as well as all Pac-12 players.

Madelyn Robinson has posted double-digit kills in all but two matches this season and is 15th nationally with 4.37 kills per set.

• Utah has the 16th toughest schedule in the nation this season, while the Utes are No. 52 in the RPI this week.

• Utah has not played on a Wednesday this season.

• Utah is 20-14 (9-7 in Tempe) all-time against Arizona State. Utah has won 10 of its last 11 matches against ASU, which includes six-straight wins in Tempe dating back to the 2015 season.

• Utah is 17-12 (5-9 in Boulder) in the series history vs. Colorado, and has won five of the last eight matches against the Buffaloes. Utah has dropped the last two matches in Boulder with its last road win coming in 2019 (3-0), while the Buffs took the first meeting this season in Salt Lake City.

Madelyn Robinson is second in the Pac-12 and No. 15 in the nation with 4.37 kills per set.

KJ Burgess is third in the Pac-12 and No. 41 nationally with 1.27 blocks per set, while she ranks fourth in the Pac-12 and No. 47 nationally with a .369 hitting percentage.
