Ten Huskers Earn Academic All-Big Ten Honors


Ten Nebraska volleyball student-athletes were named to the Fall Academic All-Big Ten Team announced on Friday. 

Junior Anni Evans led the group with a 3.944 GPA majoring in psychology for her second career Fall Academic All-Big Ten honor. 

Nicklin Hames and Kaitlyn Hord each received their fourth career Fall Academic All-Big Ten selections, while Kenzie Knuckles and Madi Kubik both earned their third. 

Sophomores Ally Batenhorst, Lindsay Krause, Whitney Lauenstein, Kennedi Orr and Lexi Rodriguez all received their first fall semester accolades.

To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, students must be on a varsity team (as verified by being on the official squad list as of Nov. 1 for fall sports), have been enrolled full time at the institution for a minimum of 12 months and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
