COLUMBIA, Mo. – Missouri volleyball right side hitter Jordan Iliff was named to the 2023 Women’s Collegiate National Team, USA Volleyball’s National Team Development Program announced Friday.
Iliff, a junior from St. Louis, Missouri, was selected to the 20-player roster that features the nation’s top collegiate women’s volleyball players.
The Collegiate Team will train June 18-24 in Anaheim, California, alongside the U.S. Women’s National Team as it prepares for the final preliminary round of Volleyball Nations League.
Iliff was third on Missouri in 2022 with 227 kills (2.39 kills per set). She started in 20 matches as a sophomore and appeared in 25. Iliff also totaled 251.0 points (2.64 points per set) this past season.
In SEC play, Iliff notched 148 kills (2.39 kills per set).
She finished in double-digits for kills on 11 occasions in 2022 including a career-best 18 rally stoppers on a .457 clip against LSU on Nov. 12. Iliff wrapped the campaign with consecutive 13-kill outings at Mississippi State Nov. 25-26.
Iliff and libero Maya Sands most recently attended the 2023 USA Women’s National Team Open Tryouts Feb. 24-26 at the Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Outside hitters on the 2023 Women’s Collegiate National Team roster are Mimi Colyer, Skylar Fields, Morgan Geddes, Lauren Jardine, Erin Livingston and Caroline Meuth.
Middle blockers are Anita Anwusi, Meg Brown, Anna Dodson, Sophie Fischer and Janice Leao. Opposites are Anna Dixon, Jordan Iliff and Kate Prior.
Setters are Emma Grome, Camryn Haworth and Alexis Stucky. Liberos are Lauren Briseño, Kate Georgiades and Lexi Rodriguez.
Longtime NTDP coach Michelle Chatman Smith will be the team’s head coach. Her assistants will be Olympic medalists Tayyiba Haneef-Park and Danielle Scott along with BYU Head Coach Heather Olmstead.
