LOS ANGELES – USC beach volleyball seniors Audrey Nourse (Newport Beach, Calif./Orange Lutheran HS) and Nicole Nourse (Newport Beach, Calif./Orange Lutheran HS) were named to the Academic All-America® Team as selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC) on Thursday, June 22.

The twin sisters were each chosen to the Academic All-America® Women’s At-Large Third Team as two of seven beach volleyball student-athletes represented across the three teams. Both sisters were also included on the Women’s At-Large All-District Academic Teams. While it is a first-career award for Audrey, Nicole repeated both her all-district and Academic All-America® Third Team selections from 2021.

The incredible twin duo went 4-0 at the NCAA championship in Gulf Shores, Ala., to help USC secure its third straight national title; sixth all-time. The sisters finished the season on an eight-match win streak and delivered the incredible clinching point in the Trojans’ win over UCLA in the championship dual. The Nourses were honored with a spot on the NCAA All-Tournament Team representing the No. 3 flight and were also honored on the all-tournament team in 2022 from the No. 4 position.

The two Women of Troy completed their senior seasons with a 29-6 overall record and improved to 91-16 all-time. Their 91 wins as a pair match the second-highest total held by a Trojan tandem, equaling a mark set by Nicolette Martin and Allie Wheeler (2014-16). They are also two-time honorees on the Pac-12’s Academic Honor Roll (2021-22) and graduated this May with bachelor’s degrees in business administration from the USC Marshall School of Business.

Under fourth-year head coach Dain Blanton, the USC beach volleyball team captured its third straight NCAA Championship (fifth NCAA title and sixth national title) in 2023. The Women of Troy finished the year ranked No. 1 and had an overall record of 32-5. USC added two more AVCA All-Americans to its history books with the third selection of Megan Kraft and the first-career honor for Delaynie Maple. Kraft was named the Pac-12’s Player of the Year while she and Maple earned Pac-12 Pair of the Year laurels. Both…
