CHICAGO, IL – Maryland volleyball was represented by head coach Adam Hughes and student-athletes Zoe Huang and Samantha Schnitta at the annual Big Ten Volleyball Media Day.
The trio traveled to various stations in the Big Ten Network headquarters during the all-day event on Monday. The stations included countless activities ranging from on-air network interviews to rapid fire social media questions.

Huang and Schnitta participated in numerous photo shoots and video shoots and sat down with several news outlets such as On Her Turf and Just Women’s Sports. Hughes and the student-athletes sat down for a radio interview with SiriusXM, as well as on-camera segments in the Big Ten Digital Studio and for the At The Net series produced by the conference. They concluded the day with a press conference with attending media. Following the media day activities, the Big Ten hosted a rooftop dinner with all 18 teams to socialize before the first serve of the season.

The Terps are back in action on August 30 when they compete in their first tournament of the season at LSU. The first chance to see Maryland at home will be on Sept. 6 when they host Alabama A&M.
