Historically, Penn State has dominated this matchup, holding a 60-11 all-time record over Purdue. However, recent contests have been much more competitive, with the teams splitting their last 10 meetings 5-5. Purdue took down Penn State twice last season, including a hard-fought 3-2 victory.
As both teams have evolved and retained key players, Wednesday’s clash is shaping to be another tightly contested battle with ranking positions on the line.
