Al Ahli Club were crowned champions of His Highness the Crown Prince Cup after defeating Al Muharraq 3-0 in the final to capture the title for the sixth time at the Isa Bin Rashid Volleyball Complex at BVA Headquarters in Riffa on April 22, 2024.
His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa attended the final on behalf of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. His Highness Shaikh Ali bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, President of Bahrain Volleyball Association, H.E Dr. Abdulrahaman Sadiq Askar, CEO of Bahrain’s General Sports Authority, and other senior BVA Members and sponsors also witnessed the final.
Al Ahli took the first set 25-21, and the second set 25-19 and continued their fine form to seal the third set with the similar margin 25-19 to eventually clinch the Cup title for 2023/2024 season. His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa presented the Cup and medals to members of the winning team and also honored the runners-up in the closing ceremony.
