Badgers defeat UNI in final spring game


DUBUQUE, Iowa – In it’s final match of the spring season, the Wisconsin volleyball team swept the University of Northern Iowa (25-23, 35-19, 25-17) Friday evening from the Stoltz Sports Center at the University of Dubuque. 

Wisconsin hit .474 (46 – 3 – 78)  for the match with seniors Devyn Robinson and Sarah Franklin leading the offensive attack with 15 kills each. Overall, the Badgers committed just three attack errors for an efficient evening offensively. Anna Smrek and Julia Orzol had seven kills each on the night as well.



Gulce Guctekin and Franklin tallied two aces each to lead against the Panthers and totaled five compared to UNI’s two service aces. 

This match concludes the spring season with Wisconsin sweeping its two matches 3-0 and Badgers will prepare for the fall 2024 season.
