Beach Volleyball Announces 2024 Schedule


The University of Washington announced its 2024 Beach Volleyball schedule on Thursday.

The Beach Dawgs kick off their 2024 campaign in Texas with the first four matches of their season against Louisiana State University, Texas Christian University, Houston Christian Huskies, and University of Central Arkansas on February 23rd and 24th.

The Huskies will travel to Los Angles for “The Battle 4 LA” tournament on March 1st and 2nd for their first conference match up against UCLA. The Huskies will also take on Loyola Marymount, Grand Cayon, and Long Beach State.

The Huskies will compete in the “Pac-12 South Tournament” in Tempe, Arizona on March 8th and 9th against the reigning National Champions University of Southern California. The Huskies will also compete against Arizona, and UCLA. This is the first of two tournaments broadcast on the Pac-12 Network this season.

After competing in Arizona, the Dawgs will head to Texas from March 20th to the 23rd to take on the University of Texas, Florida Gulf Coast, Arizona State, and Florida International as well as a rematch with TCU.

The Huskies will host two consecutive home tournaments on Alki Beach. The first tournament is the “Pac-12 North Tournament” which takes place on April 5th and 6th and pits the Huskies against Stanford, Cal Oregon, and Arizona State. UW then welcomes Oregon again, Boise State, and Georgia State the following weekend for the “Alki Beach Invitational.”

The Huskies will head to Palo Alto, California, to tune up against Cal, GCU, Stanford, and Saint Mary’s before the Pac-12 Championship, which will be broadcast on the Pac-12 Network four days later.

The Huskies are coming off their best season in program history, with a record number of wins and finished ranked 15th, the first year-end ranking in school history.
