The top eight NPI teams in women’s volleyball will be protected as part of a two-year pilot program, beginning with the 2024 Championship.
This means the top eight NPI teams will be guaranteed No. 1 seeds at regionals. Protecting (separating) those top seeds will be a priority over those top eight teams hosting.
