JACKSON, Mich. – The Crossroads League announced its latest collection of weekly honors, in which Taylor junior, Kacy Bragg, was recognized as the league’s Setter of the Week for the sixth time this season.

The Trojans played just one match throughout the week, a three-set sweep of Spring Arbor (14-18) in the Crossroads League Tournament Quarterfinals in which Bragg collected 35 assists, nine digs, five kills and a block.

Taylor’s stud setter averaged 11.7 assists, 3.0 digs, and 1.7 kills per set, all the while posting a .308 hitting percentage in the Trojans’ opening-round win.

Bragg, a native of Warsaw, Indiana, ranks second in the nation with 1,230 total assists, averaging an impressive 10.79 assists per set.

This week’s honor marks the sixth of Bragg’s junior season, now matching the 2016 effort of Haley Harrell as the only Trojan volleyball players within the last decade to be named the Crossroads League Player of the Week six times in a single season.

Taylor athletes now boast 19 CL or MSFA Player-of-the-Week awards in the 2021-2022 athletic year, 11 of which belong to the Trojan volleyball team.

Bragg and the No. 25 Trojans (27-6) will travel to Marion on Wednesday, November 10th, to take on No. 21 Indiana Wesleyan (21-4) at 7:00 pm in the Crossroads League Tournament Semifinals.
