GREENSBORO, NC — Two members of the NC State volleyball team earned All-ACC honors, as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon.
Freshman outside hitter Ava Brizard earned All-Freshman team honors after her breakout season. The true freshman from Novi, Mich., finished the season with 257 kills to average 3.02 per set. She earned ACC Freshman of the Week honors twice this season for her performances against Tennessee and Elon, as well as Florida State and Miami.
Brizard also tallied 191 digs and finished the season with five double-doubles on the season. She added 15 service aces and 33 blocks to her freshman stats.
Graduate libero Priscilla Hernandez earned Second Team All-ACC honors after her lone season with the Wolfpack. Hernandez joined the Pack after four seasons at Miami, where she made All-ACC Second Team during her senior season with the Hurricanes. The Miami, Fla. native ranks first in program history for digs per set in a single season with 4.39 and is only the second person in program history to do so in a single season.
She finished the 2022 season with 465 digs and 30 service aces.
