SEATTLE — Washington continues a jam-packed stretch of the season that features five matches over eight days, and the next three come on the road in two different states. The Huskies look to keep their unbeaten start to the season going with a trio of big challenges, starting with a rare Tuesday night match against Oregon State in Corvallis. From there the Huskies will keep heading south down to Long Beach where they will take on Long Beach State on Thursday and then finish the stretch with a test against Pepperdine on Friday in Long Beach.

First serve in Gill Coliseum against the Beavers is set for 6 p.m. and the match will be streamed on ESPN+. Thursday’s match against LBSU is set for 7 p.m. and will also be streamed on ESPN+ though Friday’s finale against the Waves starting at 3 p.m. will not be streamed.

Washington is now 7-0 for the first time since the 2016 season after defeating rival Washington State and UC Davis last week in its first two home matches. This week, Julia Hunt won the Big Ten Freshman of the Week award, becoming the first Husky to win an honor in UW’s new conference home. Hunt had 26 kills over two matches and hit .391.

The Dawgs remain in the “receiving votes” section of the AVCA coaches poll, the second team out of the top-25.

Washington is well familiar with all three opponents this week, as the Dawgs played all three last season. The Huskies split with Oregon State last year, winning in Corvallis but losing in Seattle. UW had a 3-1 win at Long Beach State a year ago but lost in straight sets to Pepperdine.
