BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Following one of the most brilliant statistical weekends in Indiana Volleyball history, Camryn Haworth was named the AVCA/Gamechanger DI National Player of the Week.

The Fishers, Ind. native helped lead IU to victories over Northwestern and No. 5 Ohio State. The win over the Buckeyes was the program’s first-ever win over a top-five team on the road.

Haworth was brilliant across the weekend. Against Northwestern, she recorded the program’s first triple-double since 2001 with 37 assists, 11 digs and 10 kills. She also provided a career-best seven blocks, coming just three blocks away from a quadruple-double.

She followed that up with a resounding double-double against the Buckeyes, putting up 45 assists and 16 digs in the victory. Haworth also tallied eight kills, four blocks and one ace in the match, coming two kills shy of consecutive triple-doubles.

On the season, Haworth owns 1024 assists, 264 digs, 117 kills, 56 blocks and 44 aces. She has the most aces in the Big Ten and ranks No. 4 in assists.

A day after being named Big Ten Setter of the Week, the first in program history, she becomes IU’s first AVCA National Player of the Week since 1998.

Haworth and the Hoosiers have two matches remaining in the regular season as she attempts to help guide the program back to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2010.
