CLEMSON, S.C. – With the anticipation of the newly renovated Jervey Gym, Head Coach Jackie Simpson Kirr and the Clemson Volleyball team announced the 2024 schedule on Monday, July 1. The schedule features 11 non-conference matches and 20 ACC contests, while taking on nine opponents that made a postseason appearance in 2023.

The 2024 season marks the first season inside Jervey Gym following upgrades to the facility. Gym construction started at the conclusion of the 2023 home slate and re-allocated more than 14,000 square feet of space. The match day fan experience has also been upgraded that includes a raised ceiling, new lighting, bleachers and sound system, as well as a brand-new videoboard and a premier ACEs Club Lounge (slated to open in 2025). The Tigers return to the court in the fall of 2024 after making their second-consecutive NIVC appearance in 2023. The ‘Great Eight’ squad will open their season with the Orange and Purple scrimmage on Aug. 17 at 1 p.m. before hitting the road for an exhibition match at Georgia on Saturday, Aug. 24. The regular season starts the following week when Clemson travels to Kalamazoo, Mich., for a three-game stretch hosted by Western Michigan. The Tigers continue their road stretch for the next two weekends traveling to a tournament at Georgia Southern and at App State. Through the eight-game road stretch, Clemson will play Loyola Chicago, Loyola Marymount, Western Michigan, Maryland Eastern Shore, Georgia Southern, App State, Wofford and Winthrop.
Clemson opens its 2024 home slate inside the newly renovated Jervey Gym on Sept. 19 against Kennesaw State. The Tigers continue their home-opening weekend with a Palmetto State showdown against South Carolina (Sept. 20) for Alumni Weekend, before hitting the road on Sept. 21 against Furman to conclude non-conference play.
The Tigers will open ACC action on Sept. 17 inside Jervey Gym against Pitt before welcoming new ACC foe SMU to town on Sept. 29. Other home ACC matches include Virginia (Oct. 11), Virginia Tech (Oct. 13), Georgia Tech (Oct. 18), Wake Forest (Oct. 25), NC State (Oct. 27), Boston…
