Colvin, Ellis to Participate in Inaugural Big Ten Volleyball Media Day

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The conference office is set to host the inaugural Big Ten Volleyball Media Day at the Big Ten Network studios in Chicago on August 1-2, with Purdue among the seven programs slated to participate in its opening day.

Joining the media in the league offices on Monday is sophomore Raven Colvin, senior Emma Ellis and head coach Dave Shondell.

The Boilermakers are among one of the seven programs attending on Day One, while the remaining teams will participate on Tuesday. The event will serve as the first of its kind in collegiate volleyball.

Single-match tickets will go on-sale August 2 for John Purdue Club members and August 3 for the general public.

The 2022 season marks the 20th for Art and Connie Euler Head Coach Dave Shondell and his coaching staff at Purdue, which together makes the longest tenured coaching staff in the Power Five. In addition to coming off a pair of back-to-back Elite Eight Finishes, Shondell has led the Boilermakers to 76 consecutive weeks ranked in the AVCA poll, including the last 22 weeks among the top-15.
