Earlier this week the NAIA announced Defiance College among five new members joining in July 2024. Defiance has been an NCAA Division III institution since leaving the NAIA in 1991.
Defiance is currently a member of the HCAC, which will welcome Berea in Defiance’s stead next season.
From an article in The Crescent-News local newspaper: “Defiance College has not made any public announcements about the approval to move to NAIA, and will not do so ahead of a Board of Trustees meeting scheduled for Friday.”
