Fall Campaign Starts With Alki Pairs


EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon beach volleyball team opens its 2023 fall slate with the two-day Alki Pairs tournament beginning Saturday in Seattle. The competition starts at 9 a.m. with pool play which will determine brackets for each of the three divisions.
 
Along with host Washington, the Ducks will be joined on Alki Beach by pairs from Arizona, Boise State and Utah.

Oregon is slated to have eight pairs in action this weekend with two in the gold division with three each in the silver and bronze divisions. The gold and bronze events are expected to include 12 pairs each and the silver bracket will have 16 pairs.
 
The team’s fall schedule also includes the City of Trees Classic (Oct. 21-22) in Boise, Idaho.
