CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – During the offseason, several improvements were made for Illinois volleyball home matches. Updates to Huff Hall lighting and team benches have been announced by Illinois Athletics.
The Huff Hall gym received a lighting upgrade with new lights being installed throughout. The new lighting will enhance the match-day atmosphere for participating teams and fans alike. Lights-out team introductions will now be a part of the Fighting Illini volleyball match experience.
Chris Tamas‘ squad will be switching benches, starting on the south bench with the video board to their backs. The logistic change prioritizes the safety of both the Illinois student-athletes and the visiting teams. Ticket holders have been notified of the bench change.
Updates on parking for the upcoming season will be announced at a later date.
