CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – Illinois volleyball head coach Chris Tamas announced the addition of Raegen Reilly on Thursday. Reilly joins four other newcomers – Kenzie Cogan, Christina Martinez Mundo, Ashlyn Philpot and Laynie Smith – for the upcoming season.

Notes: As a junior ar South Dakota State, led the team with 642 assists and 6.00 assists per set… Registered seven double-doubles… Posted a season-high 52 assists against Kansas City (9/23/23)… Tallied three aces against Montana (9/14/23)… As a sophomore, set a new program record for single-season assists in the current scoring era with 1,307 assists… Dished out 9.98 assists per set, which ranked second for SDSU in the current scoring era… Played in 131 sets in 2022 for the Jacks, setting a new record for sets played in a season during the current scoring era… Ranked second on the team with 27 ace serves in 2022… Dished at least 25 assists in all but one appearance… As a freshman at North Dakota State, played in 29 of the team’s 30 matches… Tallied 788 assists, 210 digs, 30 blocks and 22 ace serves as a freshman… Recorded 8.76 assists per set, ranking fifth in the Summit League… Logged nine double-doubles on the year… Four-year letterwinner in high school… Earned all-conference and all-state honors in 2018, 2019 and 2020… Collected all-state all-tournament team accolades in 2019 and 2020… Named Class AA South Dakota Miss Volleyball as a senior in 2020… Named to the Argus Leader Super 6 list in 2020… Led her high school team to an unbeaten 2020 season and South Dakota State Class AA state title… Accumulated a number of volleyball accolades, including a spot on the South Dakota All-State Volleyball Team, the Margaret Lynch Memorial Award, Adrenaline Player of the Year, AVCA High School All-Region honors and being tabbed an AAU Nationals 18 Premier All-American… Finished her high-school career with more than 1,700 career assists, 821 digs and 668 kills… Sister Bergen currently plays volleyball at Nebraska.
