Florida-LSU Slated for Two-Match Series


The Gators return to Exactech Arena to face the Tigers beginning on Saturday.  

Match Notes

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The No. 15 Florida volleyball team returns home to Exactech Arena to host a two-match series against the LSU Tigers (RV) beginning on Saturday.

Saturday’s match – slated for 6 p.m. – is set to air on SEC Network + and can be heard on the airways of ESPN Gainesville 98.1 FM/850. Fans attending the Florida football game against Missouri can redeem their ticket for free entry into Saturday’s volleyball match.

Sunday’s first serve is set for 3 p.m. and can again be streamed on SEC + or heard on ESPN Gainesville 98.1 FM/850.

Florida is coming off a solid four-set road victory over the Tennessee Lady Volunteers on Wednesday night, while LSU completed the comeback win in five sets against Auburn earlier this week.

The Gators hold the 49-14 record against the LSU Tigers, including a 46-6 record under Mary Wise and a 23-5 advantage in Gainesville, Fla.

Parking Information

  • The Stephen C. O’Connell Center parking lot will open at 5 p.m. for volleyball fans via Southwest 2nd Avenue

    • Following kickoff of the football game, all football designated parking lots will be opened

  • The last time these two squads faced off was on Oct. 10, 2021 in Baton Rouge, La. and the Tigers came out victorious in a tightly-contested four set battle (25-22, 17-25, 21-25, 21-25)
