In the 24th round of the French Ligue A, Tours faced their second consecutive defeat, continuing their recent struggles on the court. Tours was defeated at home court by Toulouse in a five-set match (25-17, 18-25, 25-21, 24-26, 13-15).
Meanwhile, Poitiers caused an upset by defeating reigning champions Montpellier in a thrilling five-set match. The match was closely contested, with both teams fighting hard for every point. However, it was Poitiers who emerged victorious 3-2 (27-25, 25-19, 15-25, 16-25, 15-12)
Narbonne also achieved success in a nail-biting five-set match against Sete. Sete was 2-1 up, but Narbonne came out victorious in the end 25-14, 14-25, 22-25, 15-18, and 15-10.
In the other matches of the round, Chaumont secured a comfortable three-set win over Nice, partially was 27-25, 25-15, and, 25-22. Plessis-Robinson, on the other hand, managed to turn their match around after falling behind 0-2 and won a hard-fought five-set battle.
Overall, the 24th round of the French Ligue A provided fans with plenty of thrilling matches and some unexpected results. And today we have another exciting match where Tourcoing will host Saint-Nazaire.
