WASHINGTON – The Gallaudet University women’s volleyball program will host a Girls’ Volleyball Clinic from June 14-17 at the California School for the Deaf-Riverside. The clinic is open to all girls in grades 5th through 12th grade (Grade in Fall 2022).
Gallaudet volleyball staff and players will be providing volleyball clinic plus “chalk talks” over three and half days. The purpose of this clinic is to spiral the participants’ current volleyball skills and knowledge into greater heights. Campers are trained individually and in small groups to develop the essential skills of volleyball such as serving, passing, setting, and hitting.
The cost of the clinic is $115 per athlete. The clinic will run from 8:45 a.m. until 4:45 p.m. for Tuesday through Thursday and 8:30 a.m. until noon on Friday.
Registration deadline is May 1, 2022.
The goal of the clinic is to provide the best volleyball skills development programs for girls through positive, fun and professional coaching methods. Gallaudet’s volleyball clinic starts at 5th grade and goes up to the high school level athlete emphasizing on learning, practicing, and improving all aspects of a player’s game. Small sided games and situation drills enable TEAM AWARENESS skills to be strengthened and developed during the volleyball clinic. Campers are trained individually and in small groups to develop the essential skills of volleyball such as serving, passing, setting, and hitting.
