Huskies Move Up The Record Book Against Cal and Stanford

Stanford, Calif —– The Huskies fell to No. 8 California 1-4 and No. 3 Stanford 0-5 on Friday. Despite the losses, multiple Huskies moved up in the record book. Scarlett Dahl’s start against Stanford tied her for the most appearances in Husky history with 127.

California Dual

The Huskies fell to Stanford 1-4, but Zoey Henson and Lauren Wilcock (No. 2) were the bright spot in the loss.They extended their winning streak to 12 dual when they came back multiple times in the third set to win their match. That victory marked the 18th of the season for the duo, which tied them for the third most pair wins in a single season with Kendall Mather/Piper Monk-Heidrich in 2023 and also Chloe Loreen/Natalie Robinson in 2022.

Henson is also now in third all-time for the most dual wins in a single season with 23, as she moved past Scarlett Dahl’s mark of 22 from last year. Lauren Wilcock also earned her 20th win of the season, which is the fifth most wins in a single season.

Stanford Dual

Scarlett Dahl moved into a tie with Natalie Robinson for most appearances in a career with 127. Dahl and Josie Ulrich (No. 4) battled against their Stanford counterpart in a fierce 37-39 third set loss that included 10 ties and lead changes. Dahl came into the season with 96 career appearances and started every dual this year, putting her one more appearance away from the record.
