The Notre Dame Fighting Irish (9-12, 2-10) are back on the road as they head to Boston College (11-13, 4-8) on Friday, Nov. 8 and Syracuse (13-11, 1-11) on Sunday, Nov. 10. The Irish have five more road games and three home games remaining in the regular season.

HISTORY VS. BOSTON COLLEGE
- This will be the 28th match up between the Irish and the Eagles with Notre Dame leading the overall series at 23-4.
- The Irish have won the last 10 matches against Boston College dating back to 2016.
- The last matchup between the two squads was Sept. 22, 2023 at Purcell Pavilion where the Irish won in five sets (25-21,16-25,24-26,25-15,15-6).
- In the 2023 ACC opener against the Eagles, Sydney Palazzolo recorded a double-double with 15 kills and 18 digs, while Phyona Schrader also notched double-digit kills with 11.
HISTORY VS. SYRACUSE
- This will be the 40th match up between the Irish and the Orange as the Irish lead 30-9 in the overall series.
- Notre Dame has won the last six matches against Syracuse with the last win coming at home on Sept. 24, 2023 as the Irish swept the Orange 26-24, 25-9, 25-18.
- Sydney Palazzolo led the Irish with 13 kills and a .588 hitting percentage and was followed by Phyona Schrader with 10 kills, hitting at a .643 clip.
PHYONA SCHRADER
- Phyona Schrader was named ACC Setter of the Week on Monday, Sept. 16 after guiding the Irish to a perfect 3-0 week, with two wins over Northwestern and the program’s first-ever win over Colorado State.
- She is now second in the nation for triple-doubles this season (8).
FRESH FACES
- Notre Dame’s incoming freshman class ranked 13th in the nation according to Prep Dig.
- The Irish welcome six freshman to the team, bringing the Irish to a roster size of 22 – Rockwell’s largest roster since starting in 2022.
- The freshman class consists of Grace Langer (MB), Anna Bjork (MB), Kailyn Greene- Gordon (OPP), Mia Radeff (OH), Morgan Gaerte (OH), and Mallory Bohl (MB).
- Gaerte was the number one recruit coming out of Indiana, hailing from Angola High School, just a little over an hour from South Bend.
- Notre Dame also welcomes setter Ella Sandt to the 2024 squad, a graduate transfer from Saint Mary’s.
