Northwestern State

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Graduate transfer Iman Isanovic had perhaps the best match of her first weekend wearing Crimson and Gray on Sunday, tallying 15 kills while hitting .542 (15-2-24) to go along with two aces, three digs and one block as Washington State volleyball (2-1) swept Troy (0-3) to close out the 2023 Cardinal Classic at L&H Credit Union Arena.

Karly Basham fell just one ace shy of her career high and the WSU three-set record as she finished with six aces on the afternoon — WSU tallied nine as a team.

Pia Timmer (10 kills, .474 att pct), Katy Ryan (nine kills, .538 att pct), and Magda Jehlárová (eight kills, .583) each finished with an attack percentage over .400 as the Cougs hit .476 as a team.  Setter Argentina Ung filled the entire box score with 37 assists, two kills, four digs, two blocks and a pair of service aces.
